China’s Coal Exports Up 32.3% Year-on-Year in May

From January to May, total coal exports reached 2.54 million metric tons, up 12.9% year-on-year.

China exported 410,000 metric tons of coal in May 2025, a 32.3% increase from the same month last year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs. However, exports fell 43.06% compared with April.
